Painterly daylight composition in the manner of Andrew Wyeth's tempera-toned fields: a single small deep-indigo silhouette of a young person carrying a satchel walks away from the viewer along an unpaved path receding through a dry meadow. At the path's vanishing point, a low classical campus gateway is suggested in deep-indigo silhouette with one warm amber-lit window. A luminous warm sun sits low on the horizon casting first-light across the scene; pale-indigo Turner-late sky fills the upper two-thirds of the frame.

For Students — How to Study With Kompas AI School

Kompas AI School is taught on partner university campuses, not online or direct. If you want to learn AI with us, you apply to one of our partner universities. Here's how it works.

A few thousand students every year reach this page wanting to know how to enrol with Kompas. The honest answer: you do not enrol with us directly. We do not run our own university, our own admissions process, or any standalone online courses.

You learn with us by enrolling at one of our partner universities and choosing a degree programme that includes Kompas tracks. The four steps below are the entire journey.

How it works

  1. Apply to a partner university through their own admissions process — entrance exam, board results, interview, whatever they require. You apply to the university, not to Kompas.
  2. Enrol in a degree that includes one or more Kompas-taught tracks. Which tracks run on that campus is decided by the university and listed on its partner page.
  3. Learn on campus. Kompas modules are taught in person by Kompas resident faculty alongside your university's own faculty — weekly industry-practitioner sessions, on-campus AI Studio lab time, capstone supervision. Assessment counts toward your university's degree.
  4. Graduate with two things. Your university degree, plus a Kompas-issued Skill Score — a verifiable, project-evidenced rating of your AI proficiency against a five-band rubric co-signed by hiring partners. The Skill Score is the same rubric at every Kompas campus.

If your university is not yet a partner, the highest-leverage thing you can do is introduce us to your Dean or Vice Chancellor. Most of our partnerships started exactly that way. The form lower down on this page makes that introduction easy — we write the first email, you stay on copy.

For the detailed mechanics — what we will and will not do, how the Skill Score works, whether Kompas modules are available online (no), how we differ from a bootcamp — see the FAQ below.

Frequently asked

Questions from students and parents.

Honest answers, drawn from the way we are deliberately built — on-campus only, no D2C, no certificates, no bootcamp on the side.

  • You apply to a partner university through their regular admissions process. Once admitted, your curriculum may include one or more Kompas-taught tracks — your university decides which. The modules are taught on campus by Kompas resident faculty alongside university faculty, and assessment counts toward your degree. On graduation you carry both your degree and a Kompas-issued Skill Score: a verifiable, project-evidenced AI proficiency rating.

Bring Kompas to your university

Don’t see Kompas at your campus? Introduce us to your Dean or VC.

Most of the partnerships we have signed started because someone inside the university pushed for it — a faculty member, a student leader, a recent alum, a parent on the governing board. If you can get the right person on a 30-minute call with us, we will take the meeting.

  • The introduction can be over email — copy us at partnerships@withkompas.com.
  • If you prefer, fill the short form. We’ll write to the Dean or VC with you on copy.
  • The first conversation is no-commitment — we walk the academic council through the model, then your institution decides.
